Easter

So, I'm a little behind on this post, but that's how it goes with a toddler and an infant. For some reason I envisioned having all this time to write blog posts and organize the house once I was home with the kids. Just getting a shower most days is a victory so I guess I should be pleased to write this before Christmas.

I feel so good about Easter this year. With our crazy lives and our crazy schedules around holiday time there is usually one or two things that I don't get to do that I wish we did. This time we really got the opportunity to enjoy the holiday and do lots of Easter-related activities.

We started off by making an egg tree - a fun activity that Ben was very proud of. We dyed eggs, went to two Easter egg hunts in town and met up with our friends, the Duffys, at Linvilla Orchards to meet the Easter Bunny at Bunnyland. For the actual holiday we had something of a scavenger hunt that the Bunny left for Ben as a way to find his Easter basket. He caught on pretty quickly and managed to figure out all the clues and found his basket. We capped off the festivities with a road trip to Nonni and Pops where the egg hunts, candy and toys continued. The big news (for me) was Lilly wore her first dress!

Hopefully we'll be able as much fun next year!

Mini Me?

I think Lilly kinda looks like me! Yes, that's me on the bottom with that helmut of hair.
