Before and After

Ben has not had his hair cut since May! We let it grow for the summer and it was so cute...blond and a little curly. But a mom can only take so much...between the constant brushing (or trying to brush) and the stuff that would end up in there, I had to give in. He looks like such a big boy with his new cut! Do note the lollipop that he refused to let go of until we had to pry it from his hands at bath time.

(This is Nate) Unreal picture of Ben helping Pappap build the new bar at their house. First of all, it's hard enough to get a shot of Ben, let alone looking at the camera, sitting still and wearing goggles. Everything aligned just right for this picture. Kudos to Jackie & Rubby for the kids tool set gift! And yes, that is a kids nail gun at his feet...

Italian Wedding...

(This is Nate)...No, not Kate & Glenn's, Progresso's. This soup can was the culprit in a DEFCOM 3 incident the other night whereupon Ben knocked it off a bar stool and onto his big toe. It is not a pretty sight. Save about 30 minutes of balls out crying, he's taken it very well. Dad's first reaction? Call Kris to get her home; and while waiting for the boss stuff him with special treats of M&M's, gold fish and fruit snacks while he held his buddy Curious George and watched Curious George on TV. Doctor's visit pending...

(This is Nate) Thanks Katie & David for a great weekend at the new digs. Enjoyed the 'hood, Central Park, ice cream/cookie sandwiches and a big breakfast. Ben apologizes to David for his lunch behavior; and to Katie now that David won't be wanting a kid for several more years...
